This is a Stainless Steel Add-on Needle Valve for Kegland's Alcoengine reflux condenser, or Pure Distilling Reflux condenser to fine-tune the outlet speed of spirits disillation.
As you know, the Kegland Alcoengine condenser has a 1.0mm insert and one 0.6mm insert. The 1.0mm is good for stripping runs and then on the final cut, you can use the 0.6mm insert. However, not only it will be a bit complicated to exchange these two inserts, but also you may need something between. In this case, this needle valve will allow you to fine-tune the outlet thus you can either use the full capacity of the 1.0mm insert, or reduce the speed directly on the final cut without changing the parts. With this needle valve, you can easily reach what you need.
This valve has 1 side 1/4" BSP male thread and 1 side 1/4"BSP female thread, thus you can just add this valve between the original valve and the female thread on the condenser. Or you can directly use this valve to replace the original valve for control.
