Description:
This is a mini pot still simulator the professional distillery with copper dome, whisky onion/helmet, Lynn arm and copper condensor.
The function of dome and onion is inside the alembic dome, the vapors come into contact with a cool surface, which causes them to condense back into a liquid form. This liquid then collects in the dome and is channeled out through a spout or valve.
The alembic dome and onion play a crucial role in the distillation process because it helps to separate the volatile components of the liquid from the non-volatile components. The volatile components, which have a lower boiling point, evaporate and rise up into the dome, while the non-volatile components remain in the still.
While The lyne arm is a pipe or tube that extends from the top of the pot still and angles downward. It is connected to the condenser, which cools and condenses the vapors produced during distillation.
As the vapors rise from the pot still, they pass through the lyne arm and into the condenser. The angle of the lyne arm helps to control the level of reflux that occurs during this process.
Reflux is the process by which the vapors condense back into liquid form and flow back down into the still. This process helps to separate the different components of the liquid being distilled and allows for a more precise control of the distillation process.
In addition to its role in controlling reflux, the lyne arm can also affect the flavor and aroma of the final product. By adjusting the angle of the lyne arm, distillers can create different flavor profiles and produce a variety of different spirits.
