This Copper onion head/helmet, Fits 4" bottom ferule with 4" top ferule. These beautiful units are stunning once fully polished and would make a beautiful addition to any still.
The purpose of this onion head/helmet is for better separation of ethanol with other chemicals. The principle is with the changing of diameter/volume inside the onion head/helmet, the heavier molecule has a slower speed for going up while the lighter molecule will go faster than others thus leave the heavier molecule(mainly water) in lower position.
Designed to carry the weight of a heavy 4" modular still on top of it.
