3 Inch Tri-Clover Stainless Mesh Screen PTFE (Teflon) - 40 mesh
Made from high quality 304 grade stainless mesh and PTFE teflon. The bead on this has been designed to fit any standard 2 inch (51mm) tri-clover fitting. 40 mesh equal to 0.38mm
This is compatible with all the other 3 inch Tri-Clover stuff that we sell.
This Stainless Mesh Screen has a PTFE (Teflon) seal integrated around the outside of it. The hard PTFE component is highly chemical and heat resistant. This can be used as a standard seal or alternatively, it can be used as a filter screen preventing the flow of large particulates going through your tri-clover fittings.
This fitting is often used for distillation to retain packing medial or used in pot distillation to retain botanicals in the vapor stream
