For extra body, and to adjust your brew to taste, add brewing sugars. These include dextrose, maltose and lactose. Avoid using regular sugar ( sucrose ) as it is fully fermentable and will result in a "thin" beer with off flavours and aromas.

A range of malted grains can be milled to order for mini-mashers and full mash brewers, or 250gram and 1kg pre-packs are available.

Get your fermentation off to a flying start with the reliable and popular Safale and Saflager yeasts. For hop-heads, there are nine varieties of hop pellets to choose from, including Hallertau at 4.7% a.a, Saaz 3.7%, Chinook 15.2%, Fuggles 5.7% and Cascade at 5.8% as well as infusion brew bags.

Start up kits for beginners are available for a little over $100. You can then start brewing your own beer for around $8 per slab. Intermediate and Deluxe kits are also available in store.
